April May Robinson, 51, of Independence, Ky., formerly of Ashville, N.Y., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, Ky. She was a speech language patholo-gist for Covington Independent Schools and was also formerly employed with A Step Ahead Pediatrics. April was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church and actively served in the children's ministries there. One of her passions was working with children, and she was an active foster mom.
Survivors include her husband, Buddy Eugene Robinson; sons: Seth Aaron Robinson and Quin-tin Ryan Allen; foster sons: Ian Wilson and Tyler Arch-er; sisters: Melita Lyon, Candace Lyon and Lydia Samuelson; and brother, Dan Lyon.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at 6 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 3711 Tib-batts St., Covington, KY 41017.
