Community Senior Fellowship will hold its annual holiday lunch at noon Tuesday, Dec. 4, in the First Lutheran Church parlors.
The swiss steak meal, catered by 3C's Catering, will feature all the trimmings, dessert and beverage. Devotion time, meal and musical program with friendly fellowship will be $11 per person. Reservations are required and may be made with your caller or the church office. Guests are welcome to attend and enjoy this afternoon. Officers of the group are in charge of arrangements and set up. Persons willing to assist should meet at 11 a.m. Dec. 4 in the church parlors.
Devotions will be offered by the Rev. Ned Lindstrom, third generation member of First Lutheran Church. A Jamestown native and 1973 graduate of Jamestown High School with continuing education degrees from Syracuse University, Gettysburg Theological Seminary and currently enrolled in Argosy University, Masters of Mental Health Counseling program. He has held pastoral positions and maintains interest in various cultural groups. He is employed at Jones Hill Rehabilitation.
The musical offering for the afternoon will be by the accomplished duo of Carol Svenson, piano, and Curt Barnes, clarinet. Beginning with a Jamestown Community College event some time ago, they combined talents and have been playing ever since. They have entertained at parties, weddings, churches and many other venues. Both musicians play with a variety of other ensembles.
