The Jamestown Community College swimming and diving team hosted the Genesee CC in an NJCAA Region 3 Division III dual meet on Nov. 14 and the Jayhawks' women's squad recorded a 130-42 win.
In the men's meet, Genesee won, 130-42.
The Jayhawks took the combined win, 213-138.
On the men's side, Derek Hosier won the men's 500-yard freestyle in 5:48.39. Tom Prinzi won the 200 individual medley in 2:20.05 and John Trombetta was first in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:11.42. Victor Hallett had a strong showing in both the 200-yard freestyle and the 100-yard backstroke going 2:03.97 and 1:03 57 in those events.
On the women's side Kelsey Akin won the 200 individual medley and the 100-yard backstroke in 2:30.85 and 1:08.57 respectively. Emily Holt was first with a 2:12.15 in the 200-yard freestyle and Victoria Matteson was first in the 100-butterfly at 1:18.01.
