A short week after his gracious concession speech, a more bitter Romney claimed that ''the president's campaign, if you will, focused on giving targeted groups a big gift. He made a big effort on small things." There was much disagreement on that comment, by high profile republicans.
Gov. Bobby Jindahl stated, "We have to stop dividing American values." Gov. Scott Walker on the same panel referrenced Romney's comment, "The GOP isn't just for people who are currently not dependent on the government."
Sen. Graham said ''We're in a big hole, we're not getting out of it by comments like that. When you're in a hole, stop digging. He keeps digging."
Gingrich labeled Romney's "gift" excuse as "nuts."
It's time for Romney to move on, he put up a gallant effort, but was defeated.
