CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
Joshua C. Burger, 26, of Ashville was charged with driving while intoxicated, blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, window tint darker than 70 percent admittance, insufficient stop lights and loud exhaust after a traffic stop at 2:07 a.m. Thursday. Sheriff's deputies observed a vehicle traveling south on Foote Avenue with three equipment violations. During the stop, Burger was identified as the operator. A check of his history showed his driver's license was suspended. Burger was taken into custody and released with an appearance ticket for Jamestown City Court.
HANOVER - Brett Plucinski, 23, of Versailles Road, Irving, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana at 3:46 p.m. Wednesday. Sheriff's deputies stopped Plucinski on York Road in Hanover on an outstanding warrant for failure to pay a fine in the town of Sheridan. While taking him into custody, deputies discovered that he was in possession of a controlled substance and marijuana. Plucinski was arraigned and taken to Chautauqua County Jail. He will answer to charges in Town of Hanover Court at a later date.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Thomas A. Eggleston, 45, of Jamestown was charged with failure to keep right, driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI on 11:27 p.m. Tuesday. Police officers observed a motor vehicle traveling south on Jefferson Street failing to keep right. Officers stopped the vehicle on West Second Street and discovered that the operator, Eggleston, was intoxicated. He was taken into custody transported to Jamestown City Jail without incident. He will answer the charges in Jamestown City Court.
