County IDA To Meet Thursday
DUNKIRK - The Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency board will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday at the State University at Fredonia Technology Incubator. The board's Governance Committee will meet at 9:30 a.m. The public is welcome to attend.
Gerry To Hold Tree Lighting
GERRY - The town of Gerry will hold a tree lighting ceremony for the Light A Life Hospice Memorial Campaign at 7 p.m. on Wednesday in the town hall. Refreshments will be available.
Hartfield Fire Election Is Dec. 13
MAYVILLE - The annual election of the Hartfield Fire District will take place on Dec. 13 from 6-9 p.m. at the Hartfield Firehall, Elmwood Road Mayville for the purpose of electing one commissioner for a five-year term, commencing Jan. 1, 2013, and ending Dec. 31, 2017.All voters registered with the Chautauqua County Board of Elections on or before Nov. 19 shall be eligible to vote.
TEA?Party To Meet Tuesday
LAKEWOOD - Southern Tier TEA Party Patriots will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the Lakewood American Legion, 174 Chautauqua Ave., Lakewood. Members should come prepared to discuss county and state issues that they feel need to be addressed in the upcoming months. Plans also will be made for a December Christmas party. The public is invited to attend.
Princess Event Extends Deadline
Due to increased interest, YWCA Jamestown has opened more slots for the second annual Princess Party and extended the deadline for registration to Wednesday.
