Beverly Prince (Austin), 92, of Fredonia, N.Y., died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at the Chautauqua County Home, surrounded by family members.
Born in Dunkirk May 15, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Florence (Ives) Austin. On June 30, 1938, she married her husband of 74 years, Harold C. Prince.
Mrs. Prince was employed for a time at the Van Raalte Silk Mill. She en-joyed crossword puzzles, card games and board games, especially Yahtzee. Mrs. Prince was an avid gardener and enjoyed growing vegetables in her backyard. She was well known in the area for making Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls.
Besides her husband, Harold, Mrs. Prince is survived by her two sons: Kenneth (Beverly Ann) Prince of Lakewood, N.Y., and Richard (Linda) Prince of Brocton, N.Y.; four grandchildren: Veronica (Moose) Mistretta, Victoria (Benny) Seeley, Daniel (Mary) Prince and Denise (Kevin) Prince; eight great-grandchildren: Mary, Michael and Marc Mistret-ta, Jordan and Tyler Seeley, Kathryn, Kenleigh and Morghan Prince; two step great-granddaughters: Amber and Ashley Fisher; a great-great granddaughter Braelynn Mistretta; a niece Karen Samples; a nephew, Roger Ver Hage; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She is predeceased by her sister, Joyce E. Fraiser.
Relatives and friends may call Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at the Larson-Timko Funeral Home, 20 Central Avenue, Fredonia, N.Y. (679-9000), where a funeral service will follow at noon. A private interment will be in the Willowbrook Park Cemetery.
