Gaby Sanchez will be one of the players who will take part in the Pittsburgh Pirates Winter Caravan when it visits Jamestown on Dec. 13. Sanchez is seen above after he received The Post-Journal’s Most Valuable Player award when he was a member of the 2005 Jamestown Jammers of the New York-Penn League. He led the NY-P League and Jammers in batting with a .355 average. He also led the team in hits with 83 and RBIs with 42. Earlier that season Sanchez was named the MVP of the first-ever NY-P League All-Star Game.
