Colleen L. MacEwan and Stephen L. Thorndike exchanged wedding vows on July 28, 2012, at St. Feehan's Church, located within the Genesee Country Village and Museum, Caledonia, N.Y. Father Edward Heidt of Las Cruces, N.M., and Deacon Joseph Placious of Rochester performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Daniel and Diane MacEwan of Spencerport, N.Y. Her husband is the son of Evelyn Thorndike of Dewittville, N.Y., and the late Samuel Thorndike.
The bride wore a gown of ivory Alencon lace over a latte crepe sheath which was handmade by her mother. The V-neck, cap-sleeve gown with puddle train was cinched at the waist by a latte crepe sash.

Meredith Lewis was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Pauline Thorndike, Meghan Sweeney and Kathleen McLallen.
Best man was Charles Naser. Groomsmen were Eric Mamajek, Richard Sarkis and Michael Thomas. Ushers were Paul and Mark MacEwan, brothers of the bride.
They honeymooned in Vancouver and the scenic Canadian Rockies.
They are living in Rochester, N.Y.
