Helen Barbara Henry (nee Pace)

Helen Barbara Henry (nee Pace), 88, of Chardon, Ohio, formerly of Bainbridge, Ohio and Findley Lake, N.Y., passed away Friday, Nov. 9, in Chardon.

Barbara was born Jan. 22, 1924, in Palmerton, Pa.

She was a graduate of Hood College in Frederick, Md., and Boston College, where she earned a degree in occupational therapy.

She served in the U.S. Army prior to her marriage to John Henry of Bain-bridge in 1949.

Mrs. Henry is survived by sister, Mary Lee England of Logan, Ohio; daughter, Ellen Morrison (Fritz) of Hiram; sons: Timothy of Burton, Micha-el (Holly) of Santa Fe, N.M., and George (Sharon) Henry of Concord; sisters-in-law, Jeanne Henry and Dottie Henry; brother-in-law, Don Henry; many nieces and nephews; and 10 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, John Henry; her parents, George and Helen Pace; brothers-in-law, Fred and Gene Henry; and sister-in-law/college roommate, Janet Henry.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, followed by a brief service at Stroud Lawrence Funeral Home, 95 South Franklin St., Chagrin Falls, OH 44022. Interment will be at Restland Cemetery in Bain-bridge immediately following the service.
