Josh Jones, a Panama Central School graduate and former resident of Lakewood, will appear on an episode of the ABC program "Modern Family," scheduled to air tonight at 9 p.m.
Jones has been living in the Los Angeles area for the last seven years and attended Biola University in La Mirada, Calif. He has acted regionally with a local theater and in some student films but this is his first on-screen experience.
According to Jan Jones, Josh's mother, he had an audition and a callback before he was cast for the role of a clerk in tonight's episode, titled "Mistery Date." The episode was filmed last month.
