Laine Hall, 53, of Mayville, passed on peacefully Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, in her home with her husband at her side.
She was born Sept. 15, 1959, in Westfield, N.Y., the daughter of George and Meredyth Bloss Meadows.
Laine loved the Lord with all of her heart. Her testimony to God's love and goodness was lifelong and her legacy will continue. Laine's passion was her family; loving her husband and spending quality time with Jill and the kids. She also loved to decorate and had a gift to make things beautiful. She was a home-design enthusiast; loving both crafting and current trends. Laine was a natural counselor and adviser always imparting God's love and grace.
Surviving besides her mother of Westfield are: her husband, Philip M. Hall; a daughter, Jill (Ben) Gerring of Dewittville; four grandchildren; a brother, Roy Meadows of Stedman; and a sister, Kim Carris of Mayville.
She was preceded in death by her father.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at the Bemus Point United Methodist Church. Ben Gerring will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service in the gallery at the church. A family-only burial service at the Dewittville Cemetery will follow the reception.
Memorials may be made to Conduit Ministries, Hospice Chautauqua County, and/or the Hartfield Volunteer Fire Department.
