Prendergast Library Lists Recent Additions To Collection

The James Prendergast Library has added several new titles to its collection. They include:

FICTION

"When It Happens to You" by Molly Ringwald. Eight short, interconnected stories follow a Los Angeles family and their friends. The stories show that deceptions, heartbreak and vulnerability that is a part of everyday life.

"Light Between Oceans" by M. L. Stedman. Tom Sherbourne is a lighthouse keeper on an island. When a baby washes on shore, Tom and his wife take in the child after years of trying to have one of their own, but their decision has terrible consequences.

"Round House" by Louise Erdrich. In the spring of 1988, Geraldine Coutts sinks into a depression after a traumatizing crime occurs on the reservation. Her husband, the tribal judge, seeks justice and their son, Joe, sets out on his own quest to find the truth and help heal his mother.

YOUNG ADULT FICTION

"Bunheads" by Sophie Flack. Hannah Ward juggles rehearsals, performances and backstage relationships as a member of the Manhattan Ballet company. When she meets spontaneous and cut Jacob, she begins to see more to life than just the theater.

"Faerie Ring" by Kiki Hamilton. Tiki is the leader of a band of orphans in 1871 London who survive by picking pockets. When Tiki steals a ring from the palace, it sets off a chain of events that threaten the peace between humans and fairies.

"Son" by Lois Lowry. This is the finale in the series that began with The Giver. Claire became a Vessel at age 13 and carried a Product at age 14. After Claire's son is taken from her, instead of forgetting him, she will stop at nothing to find him.
