Adele Harrington and Chris Derkovitz recently were inducted into the Westfield/Mayville Rotary Club.
A 20-year resident of Westfield, Mrs. Harrington is a realtor associate with Howard Hanna Holt Real Estate in the county region. Besides her hobbies of dancing, crafts and home-improvement, she likes to spend time with family and friends. Family includes her husband, Michael, and daughter Mackenzi Habig.
"I have been inspired and impacted by Rotary since high school when I was a RYLA participant during my senior year, and my classmates and I created the first Interact Club our high school had ever had. As a result, I've hoped to eventually be a Rotarian since my teen years," she said.

Derkovitz is an agent for Westfield's State Farm office and currently lives in Bemus Point. Previously, he was in senior management for 15 years with Abbott Laboratories' health care products in Chicago. He also has been in management with Astra Zeneca, a pharmaceuticals company in Delaware.
His wife, Julia, goes with the professional name of Julia Garstecki and is with the Jamestown Gazette and other national magazines. His children are Andrew, 8; and Stephanie, 6.
Mrs. Harrington and Derkovitz were sworn in by Don Dowling, membership chair, and welcomed by John Hamels, Westfield/Mayville Rotary Club president, and Rotary Club members.
