A two-car collision sent a woman to the hospital on Friday afternoon.

Jamestown Police say a 2002 Kia was being driven south on Winsor Street by 81-year-old Carmela Scala of Jamestown when it failed to yield the right of way to a 2008 Dodge van that was eastbound on Falconer Street.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the van was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
