The Post-Journal

Tree of Life Lutheran Community members, the combined ministry of Immanuel and Holy Trinity Lutheran churches, will host their annual homemade holiday Korv dinner, a long standing tradition, on Saturday, Dec. 1, in the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Settings will be at 4:30, 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. Featured will be homemade Korv, desserts and all the traditional trimmings made by Tree of Life Lutheran Community members. The cost is $10 for adults; $5 for children, ages 12 and under. The dinner is open to the public. Tickets will be available following services at each church; or contact Al Johnson at 488-1555 or 640-1087 by Tuesday, Nov. 27. Proceeds will be used to help defray the cost of youth outreach ministries and other related church projects. Funds are also donated to help finance the Joint Neighborhood Project summer lunch program. Planning committee members for the holiday Korv dinner, seated, from left, are Jan Bechmann, Karin Flynn and Sue Priester. Standing behind them, from left, are Dennis Bechmann, Michael Flynn, Steve Sandberg, Charles Lind and Tom Priester.
