Town of Poland Seniors will meet for a catered Thanksgiving dinner on Nov. 28, changed from Nov. 21, in the Kennedy Fire Hall. The cost is $7.50 for members; $9, non-members. Reservations are required; contact Shirley Covey at 665-5991. Terry and Karen Lincoln, Cliff and Liz Barnes are the committee.
Forty-one members recently attended a potluck lunch meeting and Halloween party, hosted by Bonnie Piazza and Julie Heilman. Eighteen members were dressed in costume. Prize winners included Bob and Donna Cross, funniest; Lester Town and Dee Covey, most original.
Roland Swanson, vice president, led table grace and called the meeting to order with a flag salute and song, accompanied by Lou Ball on piano. Guests Omar and Irene Kent were welcomed. Bob Cross called tables. Reports by the secretary were approved as read.
