November 7, 2012
The Post-Journal

FALCONER - Cards for veterans in Buffalo and Erie hospitals were turned in at a recent meeting of Ross Grange. These will be sent out for Veterans Day.

Yarn was distributed for afghan blocks for the Warm up America project. A report on the Holiday Happenings Craft Show, which will be held Nov. 17, was given by Betty Wakefield. Those wishing details may call her at 287-3363 as tables are still available.

The program, presented by Mrs. Wakefield included members giving "Halloween Memories," and readings "Why God Never Had Any References," and "Hugs."

Members will attend the county Pomona Grange meeting Saturday at Fredonia Grange Hall 1.

The next Ross Grange meeting will be Monday at the Falcon's Nest Banquet Hall with a tureen meal at 6:30 p.m. Robert Goodwin and Eleanor Burch will give reports of the state Grange's annual session, which was held Oct. 19-23 in Cortland. Proceeds from the Traveling Basket project should be turned in at Monday's meeting. The money will be sent to State Grange for its capital improvement fund.
