Clymer Benefit Auction Is Thursday
CLYMER - Clymer Central School's senior class is holding an auction Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the gym. There will be many items available, including furniture, event tickets, exercise equipment and many gift certificates to businesses in Clymer, Corry, Jamestown and Erie. Jammers Boosters To Meet Thursday
The Jamestown Jammers Sport Boosters will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday in The Falcons Nest, Falconer. Discussion will be on the Christmas party. The team is currently affiliated with the Pirates. New members are welcome. For more information, call 484-1418.
Randolph Historical Society To Meet
RANDOLPH - The Randolph Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Municipal Building. Historian Mark Nickerson will present a program on the Vietnam War. He will be sharing some of his father's stories, historical information and examples of the weaponry used. The public is invited to attend.
Library Craft, Bake Sale Is Saturday
FLUVANNA - The Fluvanna Free Library will host a craft bazaar and bake sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Fluvanna Fire Hall. Local crafters have items for sale for the upcoming holiday seasons. The library will also have a small book sale with proceeds to benefit the library and there will be a Chinese auction. Lunch will be available for purchase and includes pizza, broccoli-cheese soup, chicken vegetable soup, chili, sloppy joes and hot dogs. Beverages will be available. The sale is the last chance to buy tickets for the library's Kindle Fire giveaway. Tickets are $2 each and three for $5. The winner will be drawn near the end of the sale, though the winner does not need to be present to win.
Outreach Center Accepts Donations
The Community Outreach Center at First Lutheran Church, corner of Chandler and Center streets, is accepting donations of small household items and clothing, in good condition. Items may be dropped off during regular center hours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Amateur FM?Group Sponsors Class
The Chautauqua County Amateur FM Association will be sponsoring a Ham in a Day Class on Saturday at Bethel Baptist Church on Hunt Road from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with testing at 4 p.m. $15 covers the test fee. Frewsburg School Board To Meet
FREWSBURG - The Frewsburg Central School Board of Education will hold a public hearing on the district's Code of Conduct Policy from 6 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Robert H. Jackson Elementary School cafeteria. The regular November Board of Education meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.
