LATHAM - Rachel Mole of Frewsburg and the doubles team of Victoria VanEvery and Elizabeth Rowan of Southwestern were eliminated Saturday in the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Tennis Championships at the Tri-City Tennis Center.
Mole, the second ranked singles player from Section 6, lost her opening match to a Section 8 representative, 6-3, 6-2, and then lost in the consolation match by a score of 8-4.
Van Every and Rowan, the third doubles team from Section 6, was defeated by a Section 4 tandem in their first match, 6-3, 4-6, 3-6, and was beaten in the consolation match, 8-3.
