James R. Carr of North Boston, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012.
He was the husband and best friend of Joyce (nee Spengler); father of: Rodney (Susan) and Ronald (Patricia) Carr and Robin (Joseph III) Mead; brother of Phyllis (late Marvin) Wienke, Ellen Marie Carr, Kay (late Charles II) Crossley, Sam Carr, Bonnie Dem-eter, Doris Elaine Carr and Harold Gene (Helen) and B. Neil (Joanne) Carr; grandfa-ther of Karla Mead, Matthew, Maria and Kathryn Carr; and nephew of Doris Jean Carr.
Friends are invited to a funeral service at Faith United Church of Christ, Bos-ton, Monday at 11 a.m. Visitation at the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home Inc., 21 Pierce Ave., Hamburg on Saturday and Sunday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Flowers declined.
Memorials to North Boston Volunteer Fire Co., of which he was a life member and past chief and a 52-year member of Silver Lodge 757 F&AM, Silver Creek.
