YMCA To Host Santa’s Workshop After Parade

The Jamestown Area YMCAs will host its annual Santa's Family Workshop on Friday, Nov. 30, from 7-9:30 p.m. at the Fourth Street facility following the downtown holiday parade.

All community members and their families are invited to attend.

Families and children will be able to visit with Santa and his elves and participate in holiday ornament-making, crafts, Petri Baking cookie frost, face painting, holiday tattoos, holiday sing along with Cindy Haight and movies. Rudolph and Frosty will also be present during the YMCA evening event.

The Big Challenge inflatable obstacle course will be set up in the upper gym. Refreshments, including pizza, drinks and other snacks, will be available for purchase.

The cost is $1 per person and free for children 2 years and under.

"We are looking forward to celebrating the holidays with the families in our community," said Gina Bloomquist, Jamestown YMCA school age and family director. "Our Santa's Family Workshop is the perfect thing for families to do together to kick off the joyous season."

Donation sponsors include Petri Baking and Jamestown Container.
