Evans To Give Astronomy Talk
Phil Evans, noted local amateur astronomer, will return to the Marshal Martz Memorial Astronomical Association Observatory to deliver a talk on Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 8 p.m. Evans will delve into his vast archive of astronomy stories and facts during his hour-long presentation. The title for this lecture will be "Astronomy Found in Everyday Publications." This program is free and open to the public. The observatory is located on Robbin Hill Road in Frewsburg. Auxiliary To Meet
The Marco Polo auxiliary will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the club house. Dorothy Galati, Mariane DeGregorio and Mary Volpe will be the refreshment committee. All members are urged to attend. Thirty members attended a recent meeting. Co-chairwomen were Mary Racitano, Josephine Conti and Mickey Pappalardo. New members Linda Casemento and Denise Rutkowski were welcomed. Celebrating birthdays were Ms. Racitano and Ms. Volpe.
