FALCONER - Falconer (13-5) continued to advance in Section 6 Class C as the fourth-ranked Lady Golden Falcons swept No. 5 Buffalo Performing Arts, 25-7, 25-7 and 25-7 in quarterfinal girls volleyball on Wednesday.
As a team, Falconer had 21 kills, 17 aces, 33 assists and three blocks and will now move on to the semifinals today at 3 p.m., taking on No. 9 Southwestern.

Maddy Alexander and Sally Rudny showed the way as No. 9 Southwestern (15-5) downed No. 17 Fredonia for the third time this season.
Alexander recorded four aces, 12 assists, five kills and a block, and Rudny five aces, 13 kills and a block when the Lady Trojans prevailed over Fredonia, 25-15, 25-8, 14-25, 25-22.
Jenna Rauh added 10 kills and a block to the winning cause.
Fredonia's Emily Ludwig scored five kills, six blocks and Margaret Wright added nine kills and 12 digs. Maddy Crandall had 18 assists and Makenzie Tarnowski four kills and three blocks.
Southwestern now plays at 6 p.m. today at No. 4 Falconer where the host Lady Golden Falcons have won the previous two meetings.
CLASS D-1
C-LV ADVANCES
CATTARAUGUS - No. 5 Holland is heading home after falling to fourth-ranked Cattaraugus-Little Valley (12-7), 25-16, 25-9 and 25-13.
For the Lady Timberwolves, Kaitlyn Nye contributed 21 assists and four aces, Shelly Bach had nine kills and one ace and Sara Crandall produced six kills and three aces.
Cattaraugus-Little Valley will battle Randolph in the semifinals today.
SILVER CREEK FALLS
PORTVILLE - Shayna Griffin recorded 21 kills and four aces when No. 3 Portville topped No. 6 Silver Creek, 3-1.
Portville now goes on to meet host No. 2 Chautauqua Lake today in the semifinals at 6 p.m.

CLYMER FALLS
NORTH COLLINS - Beth Kiebler had seven kills and five aces as No. 2 North Collins eliminated No. 7 Clymer in a 3-0 sweep.
North Collins (11-5) hosts No. 6 Sherman today in the semifinals.
ELLE REED SHINES
BUFFALO - Elle Reed was a standout for No. 6 Sherman, recording13 kills and 11 aces as the Lady Wildcats improved to 9-8 with a 25-13, 25-8, 25-13 win over No. 3 Olmsted.
Danielle Reed contributed eight assists and two aces, Grace Mayer four assists and a kill and Cadi Hannold three assists, a kill and a block for the Lady Wildcats.
CLASS AA
RAIDERS LOSE
HAMBURG - Jamestown High School, the seventh seed, lost at Frontier via a 3-0 sweep.
Kaitlyn Lipka had five digs and Amanda Michaels four blocks as No. 2 Frontier improved to 10-5 on the season.
Frontier hosts No. 6 Clarence at 6 p.m. today in the semifinals.
