After allegedly selling narcotics to undercover officers, one Dunkirk resident is in police custody.
Levelle D. Jones, 24, of Dunkirk was charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance Tuesday.
According to police, Jones was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant issued by the City of Dunkirk Court which charged her with the crimes. Jones allegedly sold a quantity of crack cocaine to undercover officers of the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force in the city of Dunkirk.
Jones was arraigned in the City of Dunkirk Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail. The investigation is continuing and further charges are pending.
