Special Section Raises Funds For ‘Make A Difference Day’

October 31, 2012
The Post-Journal

The Resource Center's Bruce Main and Jane Young, dressed as Cher, sell a paper to Betty Palmer outside Phil-N-Cindy's Lunch on Thursday as part of The Post-Journal's fifth annual "Make a Difference Day" newspaper sale. The paper included a special section on The Resource Center, and employees of The Post-Journal and TRC, as well as community volunteers, enjoyed beautiful weather as they sold papers outside Phil-N-Cindy's and Jamestown area Tim Hortons locations. About $1,100 was raised, with the proceeds from the sale going to benefit people with disabilities at The Resource Center. The Post-Journal and TRC thank everyone who made a difference by buying a paper. If you missed your chance to get a copy, there still are some available at The Post-Journal office.
