Westfield Senior Citizens will meet for a potluck dinner at noon on Nov. 8 in the Westfield YWCA. Kitchen committee members Trudy Stafford, Gladys Hess, Irma Lloyd, Ann Cochran and Darla Augur will provide dessert. Tom Schmidt will speak on the proposed school merger.
Twenty-eight members and one guest attended a recent potluck meeting. John Wolfe spoke on the McClurg Museum and the Chautauqua County Historical Society.
Shirley Kolpien, president, presided, welcomed new member Lucille Inwood and guest Maariana Lewis and stated that Trudy Stafford, Geri Harper and Jean Stebell were the nominating committee. Joyce Wainwright read devotions. Correspondence was received from Gloria Hayes, of Union Relief, requesting hats, mittens, socks and scarves be brought to the November meeting.
Celebrating birthdays were Mary Ellen Ross and Dorothy Hall. Al and Joyce Wainwright observed their wedding anniversary.
Members were reminded that the $2 membership due must be paid in January.
