SANBORN -Freshman Christina Rauh was selected to NJCAA Region 3 Division III first team all-stars and then went out to lead Jamestown Community College to first place in Pool B of Region 3 Division III Women's Volleyball Tournament.
The Jayhawks, who had a 28-10 record during the regular-season, compiled a 2-1 record in winning Pool B on Saturday and will now face second-place Jefferson CC from Pool A at 11 a.m. today in the semifinals.
Niagara County CC, the first-place team from Pool A, takes on second-place Monroe CC from Pool B in the other 11 a.m. semifinal. The winners will play for the championship at 1 p.m.

Joining Rauh on an all-star team was sophomore Brittany Brace of JCC, who was a third-team choice.
The Jayhawks began play by losing to Erie CC, 17-25, 19-25, 25-10, as Rauh had two aces, 17 assists, seven kills, nine digs and a block.
Aricca Lis contributed eight kills and six digs, Brace had six kills, four digs and a block, and Anna Nietupski recorded an ace, five kills, 13 digs and a block.
JCC evened its record at 1-1 by prevailing over Herkimer County CC, 25-19, 29-27, 25-19, with Rauh having two aces, 24 assists, 12 kills and seven digs.
Lis added nine kills 12 digs and a block, Brace had two assists, nine kills, 10 digs and three blocks, Nietupski picked up six kills and 16 digs, and Kelsey Kyser had an ace, five kills and 10 digs.
The Jayhawks were then matched with Monroe CC and came out with a 25-20, 21-25, 25-23 win to sew up Pool B.
Rauh had an ace, 23 assists, a kill and 13 digs, Lis 10 kills and six digs. Brace added three assists, 10 kills, 10 digs and two blocks ,and Nietupski an ace, seven kills and 10 digs.
