Lowell and Nancy Larson of Jamestown, N.Y., celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Oct. 25, 2012, with a family dinner and get-together. They are the parents of four children: the late Steve (Sue) Larson, formerly of Rochester, N.Y., the late Debbie (Terry) Hoff formerly of of Evansville Ind., Dan (Janice) Larson of East Amherst, N.Y., and Larry Larson of Jamestown, N.Y. They also have six living and one deceased grandchild, and three great-grandsons.
Larson and the former Nancy Lundquist were married Oct. 25, 1947, in First Lutheran Church of Jamestown.
Lowell served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and is retired from Jamestown Metal. They are members of the Lakewood Rod and Gun Club, the Vikings, the Jamestown American Legion, the Jamestown Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
