BUFFALO - Behind another outstanding rushing effort by Zacc Kinsey, the Jamestown High School junior varsity concluded the 2012 with a 5-3 record, which is its first winning football season since having a 7-1 record in 2009.
Kinsey rushed for 150 yards on 25 carries and scored the first touchdown on a 4-yard run with 6:57 left in the first period as the Red Raiders stopped non-league Hutch-Tech, 21-6, on Saturday.
Nikk Holland tallied on 2-yard run with 6:49 left until halftime and later snuck over from the 1 with 7:14 remaining in the game. Holland kicked all three extra points after the touchdowns.
Hutch-Tech recorded a score on an 11-yard strike with 2:07 left until halftime.
Matt Nazzaro assisted Kinsey with 85 yards rushing for the Red Raiders.
On defense, end Ricky Williams led the way with five tackles and a fumble recovery, end Jack Breen, linebacker Bannon Eimiller, tackle James Elardo and linebacker Kyle Liuzzo added four tackles each for the Red Raiders.
Holland contributed a fumble recovery and an interception.
