The Warren Garden Club will present their day-long biennial design event "Triple Bloom" on Thursday, Nov. 8, at the Warren Holiday Inn, 210 Ludlow St., Warren, Pa. On Thai, a dynamic, uniquely original floral designer and owner of the Surroundings Floral Studio in Schenectady, will be the afternoon featured speaker. The morning session will contain several garden-related mini presentations.
The day will begin with coffee, tea and pastries at 9 a.m., and the short vignettes will begin at 10 a.m. These short subjects will include design ideas, arranging dried flower pictures, cooking with herbs, growing orchids, and constructing a hypertufa. A Holiday Inn lunch will be served at noon.
After lunch, On Thai will entertain with his creative abilities. His work has won many awards and is sought after for weddings, parties and corporate events, especially in New York's Capital District.
Samples of the morning topics and all of On Thai's arrangements will be given to members of the audience.
