CLARENCE - Olivia Zabrodsky of Jamestown High School was seventh in the Large School Girls Division with an outstanding time of 20:06 on the 3.1-mile layout at the 31st annual Clarence Fall Classic Invitational at Akron Falls Park on Saturday.
The rainy and windy conditions added to a hilly and difficult course in the meet that attracted some of the top cross-country runners from Section 6, Section 5 and Section 3.
Ryan Hetrick of Southwestern placed eighth in the boys Small School Boys Division with a 17:53.
Jordan Powers was 13th with a 18:16, Jacob Hinsdale 24th with a 19:07, Collin Hanson 46th with a 19:39 and Mark Mitchener 50th with a 19:49 as the Trojans finished fifth among 15 teams.
For the Southwestern girls in the Small School Division, Emily Kent came in 21st with a time of 22:48.
In the Large School boys race, Michael Capistrani was 34th with a clocking of 18:58 for the Red Raiders.
Zach Barnes was 46th with a 19:39, Jordan Johnson 49th with a 19:49 and Ryan Salemme 58th with a 21.30.
Dan Huban from Clarence was the Large School winner for the boys with a 16:08 and Katie Lembo of Penfield was the girls champion with a 18:27.
