MR. AND MRS. CLIFF CARLSON

Cliff and Mary Ann Carlson of Greenhurst celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Oct. 6, 2012, with a family dinner at rhe See-Zurh House in Bemus Point. The celebration was hosted their sons and daughters-in-law Jeff and Lori Carlson of Jamestown, N.Y., and Rick and Becky Carlson of Hamburg, N.Y. and a brother and sister-in-law, Reggie and Kathy Carlson. They also have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Carlson and the former Mary Ann Marker were married Oct. 11, 1952, in Jamestown, N.Y. The Rev. Harry Cook performed the ceremony.

Carlson is retired from Weber Knapp Co. He is a member of the Chautauqua County Bowling Hall of Fame and a life member of the Fluvanna Fire Department. Mrs. Carlson had been employed by the former Jamestown Telephone Company and the Bemus Point School District where she had been employed in the cafeteria. She is a member of the Fluvanna Fire Department Auxiliary. They are both members of the Vikings Lodge, Lakewood Rod and Gun, War Vets and First Congregational Church.
