The owner of Avenue Subs is in police custody after he was allegedly serving customers more than just pizza and subs.

Jack E. Kincaid, 50, of Jamestown, was charged with fifth-degree criminal sale of marijuana, fourth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal nuisance at 1:45 p.m. Thursday after a lengthy investigation.

According to police, after a several month-long investigation, drug investigators from the Jamestown Police Department and the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team executed a search warrant Thursday afternoon at about 1:45 p.m. at Avenue Subs, located at 212 Fairmount Ave. in Jamestown. The investigation began after complaints were received from citizens regarding the illegal sales of marijuana and narcotics from the business.
