Kyle Richardson picked up the shutout and Nick Swanson scored twice as Maple Grove wound up with a 14-1-1 record following a 3-0 victory over Chautauqua Lake in the regular-season finale on a rainy Thursday night.
Swanson began the scoring in the Division 3 contest at 31 minutes of the first half on an assist by Dominick Fabrizio.
Later, Swanson connected unassisted at 15 minutes of the second half for a 2-0 lead.
With 10 minutes left in the game, Patrick Crossley tallied unassisted for the final goal.

FALCONS POST SHUTOUT
CATTARAUGUS - Trevor Dykstra recorded the shutout as Falconer prevailed over Cattaraugus-Little Valley, 2-0, in non-league boys soccer Thursday.
Falconer scored in the first half when Drew Beckerink got a goal with an assist from Tobi Culpepper.
In the second half, Spencer Erickson scored on a corner kick.
