Jayhawks Suffer Volleyball Setback

BUTLER, Pa. - The Jamestown Community College women's volleyball team ended their regular season on a losing note, falling to Butler County CC on Wednesday in a non-league see-saw battle, 25-23, 20-25, 26-24, 17-25 and 6-15.

For the Jayhawks, Christina Rauh had 26 assists, 12 kills and nine digs; Anna Nietupski added 11 kills, 28 digs and a block; Aricca Lis had an ace, nine kills and 12 digs; and Kelsey Kyser had six kills, 10 digs and three blocks.

JCC ends the season with a 28-9 record and will begin WYNAC playoffs on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. when it meets Eric CC.
