ROCHESTER - The Jamestown Community College men's soccer team ended the regular season on a winning note Wednesday, posting a 4-1 victory over Roberts Wesleyan College's junior varsity team.
The win gave JCC a 9-8-2 overall record and 5-6-2 in Region 3, Division III.
The Jayhawks started the scoring when Nolan Farr found the net at 12:26 in the first half with Blake Barker assisting.
Three minutes later, Gage Bird knocked in a goal with the assist going to Paul Andalora and at the 27-minute mark, Bird came through with his 10th goal of the year as Farr assisted.
In the second half, Barker made it 4-0 at the 12-minute mark with an assist by Connor Meekins.
Ron Zorn finally put the Red Hawks on the board with three minutes left in the game.
Ben Morgan was solid in goal for JCC with seven saves to earn the win.
JCC will take to the road to begin playoff action on Saturday with its opponent yet to be determined.
