Logan’s Run Benefits Successful

October 18, 2012
The Post-Journal

The Logan's Run Benefit softball tournament held in Bergman Park featured 14 teams, and the winner of the trophy was the ProFinishers Company.

A dice run event for the motorcyclists in the area was also held recently. The winners of the high rollers prizes were Bob Caldwell, driver, with a score of 104, and Sherry Hanson, rider, with a score of 103. The low rollers score prize was won by Amber Bennett, rider, with a score of 64. Later that day, the "main event" featured drawings, a Chinese auction and a dinner. The winner of the pre-sale 50/50 drawing was Vinnie Berg. A special thanks to Pat and Al at The Pad, and, Skip Lanphere and the bands for a great job with the music.

The benefits supported Logan Adams, the 22-month-old son of 2008 Jamestown High School graduate Trazina Brewer. Logan was diagnosed with aplastic anemia last year. The benefits have been successful thanks to the support of donors and supporters.

Those who were not able to participate and would like to contribute in the future, and those who would just like to contact the family, you may do so through Logan's Run, P.O. Box 319, Cassadaga, N.Y. 14718. And, those wondering how Logan is doing may check on his Facebook page titled "How is Logan."
