Investigators from the Jamestown Police Department are asking for the public's assistance regarding two separate burglaries that occurred early in the morning Tuesday.
According to police, the burglaries occurred at two separate, occupied homes in the areas of Forest Avenue and South Avenue near the city line. It is believed that these burglaries took place between 2 and 7 a.m. Items that were taken in the burglaries include a flat-screen television, an Xbox video game system with games, an iPad, several laptop computers and a digital camera. These burglaries appear to have been random.
Investigators have canvassed the neighborhoods in these areas and are still looking for anyone who may have information on these crimes. Anyone who may have observed anything suspicious is asked to contact the Jamestown Police Department at 483-7531 or they can leave an anonymous tip on the department's tip line at 483-8477. All calls and tips will remain strictly confidential.
