ELLINGTON - The Farman Free Library will hold its fourth annual Shopping Day in the Country fundraiser starting at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
Those participating will visit local retail stores as well as some Amish shops from the Randolph area. The group will also partner with the Ellington Fire Department for its annual craft show at the Ellington Fire Hall.
After the day of shopping, patrons will return to the library for a chance to win prizes donated by the stores where they shopped. There will also be desserts and beverages provided by the library ladies.
Tickets for the event are $10 a person. Proceeds will benefit the library operating fund. For more information or to reserve tickets, call the library at 287-2945. Tickets can also be purchased Saturday.
