JAMESTOWN AREA

VARSITY

The Southwestern Spartans finished the season at 5-1, rolling to a 25-6 victory over the Northside Warriors with Alex Card scoring on touchdown runs of 4 yards and 45 yards.

Mayson Matthews ran three yards for a score and Josh Miller ran in from 2 yards out for a touchdown while Luke Heil produced 108 yards on the ground and Dom Certo had an extra-point conversion.

Certo led the defense with 18 tackles, Mitchell Pascarella added 12 tackles and an interception and Miller contributed eight tackles.

Jamere Maisonett scored the lone touchdown for the Warriors. Derek Brown topped the defense with nine tackles and Isiah Rojas had eight tackles and a fumble recovery.

JUNIOR VARSITY

The Southwestern Spartans jayvee team posted a 7-0 shutout over the Northside Warriors.

Max Marshall scored on a 2-yard run, Cameron Calimeri racked up 136 yards rushing and had the extra-point conversion and Steven Raymond contributed 65 yards on the ground.

Nate Card had 15 tackles for the Spartans and also had a fumble recovery as did Braiden Miller, Dom Vavala and Ben Bailey.

For the Warriors, Avante Hicks had 74 yards rushing and Elijah Rojas and Sincere Green were the leading tacklers.

LAKE SHORE

VARSITY

Chautauqua Lake topped Brocton, 12-0, as J.C. McCroskey and Josh Walsh scored for the winners.

The defensive standouts were Joseph Dombek and Tyler Strader.

For Brocton, Leroy Lindstrom and Garrett McFadden were the defensive stars while Tyrese Kristan-Johnson and David Miller shined on offense.

JUNIOR VARSITY

Chautauqua Lake posted a 8-0 playoff win over Sherman.

Tyler Sunerland was the leading rusher and Nick Ewan scored the lone touchdown as Nate Adams picked up the extra point.

Aiden Carlson, Austin Tellman and Owen Gratto were the top players for Sherman.
