BUFFALO - Emily Pleszewski made several spectacular saves in playing her best game of the season for the Jamestown Community College women's soccer team (8-6-2) on Saturday.
Pleszewski came up with 15 saves overall in the 3-1 win over Erie CC in NJCAA Region 3, Division III action.
Jill Slawiak scored her third goal of the season on a corner kick at 11 minutes to give JCC a 1-0 advantage.
Nicole Mahoney, who had a hat trick earlier in the week, tallied her seventh goal of the year on an assist from Ashley Skelly at 35 minutes for a 2-0 lead at 35 minutes.
In the second half, Megan Wilcox sent a pass to Mahoney and she scored her eighth goal of the season.
Jasmine Wiggins spoiled the shutout at 35 minutes for ECC.
