Jamestown's junior varsity football team improved to 4-3 for the season after topping Clarence, 14-6, on Friday, thanks to a solid ground game.

The Red Raiders got on the board 6:48 into the first quarter when Matt Nazzaro scored on a 7-yard run and Nikki Holland kicked the extra point for a 7-0 lead.

Clarence responded on the kickoff, however, with an 80-yard return, but missed the extra point.

Zacc Kinsey gave JHS some breathing room in the third as he scored on a 4-yard run and Holland delivered the extra point.

Kinsey ended the game with 176 yards on 17 carries and Nazzaro added 34 yards on six carries

Defensively, Kevin Mosley had eight tackles, Damien Jackson added seven tackles and Nazzaro, Cody Lang and Kyle Liuzzo each contributed five tackles.
