Charlotte Town Board To Meet

SINCLAIRVILLE - The Charlotte Town Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, in the David Vern Luce Community Building for a work session on the 2013 budget. Anyone interested is welcome to attend.

Fall Book Sale Begins Today

FREWSBURG - Myers Memorial Library in Frewsburg will be holding its Fall Book Sale today from 2 to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Used books, large-print books, audiobooks, movies, music and puzzles. All items are $1 or less. For more information please call the library at 569-5515.

JCC To Host Career Night

Jamestown Community College and the Chautauqua County Counselors Association will host the 36th annual College and Career Night on Tuesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Physical Education Complex on JCC's Jamestown Campus. The program offers high school students, their parents, and community members the opportunity to gather information about educational institutions and career possibilities. Representatives from nearly 60 colleges and 80 career areas are expected to attend the event. Admission is free. For additional information about College and Career Night, call JCC, 338-1001.

Transfer Fair To Be Held At JCC

Admissions representatives from several colleges and universities will be present at a transfer school fair on Jamestown Community College from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday. The event, which will be held in the Student Union in the Hamilton Collegiate Center, is open to JCC students and alumni and is part of a monthly series at which information about different colleges is available. Shults To Hold Grand Opening

Shults Chevrolet-Cadillac will celebrate the grand opening of their renovated facility on Thursday. Several community leaders will be in attendance to help launch the event with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5 p.m. The public is cordially invited to attend the grand opening and will be offered refreshments, hors d' oeuvres and a guided tour of the new facility. "We have made a commitment to our customers and community and will continue to be a leader in automotive sales and service," said Tim Shults.

Fall Dinner Set For Wednesday

WESTFIELD - St. Dominic Parish, Westfield, is hosting its fall Spaghetti Dinner on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church hall, 15 Union St., Westfield. Dine-in or take-out is available. Dinner includes a generous portion of spaghetti, homemade sauce and meatballs, bread, salad, refreshment and dessert. Cost is $7 for adults and $5 for children.

Chicken Dinner Set For Oct. 20

CHERRY CREEK - The Cherry Creek/Leon United Methodist Church, Main Street, Cherry Creek, will hold a chicken and biscuit dinner starting at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20. The cost is an $8 donation for adults and a $5 donation for children. Family pricing is available. The meal includes a beverage and homemade desserts.
