SALAMANCA - Despite the record-breaking performance of double winner Johanna Farrand, and a pair of victories by her sister, Whitney, Franklinville lost to Salamanca, 114-69, in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association swimming on Thursday.
Johanna Farrand set a new school record on the way to capturing the 100 butterfly (1:04.43) and also took the 200 individual medley (2:36.91) while Whitney Farrand hit the wall first in both the 50 freestyle (27.04) and the 100 backstroke (1:08.74).
Salamanca, now 10-0 overall, won five of 12 events.
