CATTARAUGUS - Andrew Desaulniers got the tie-breaking goal as Cassadaga Valley won for the first time in Division 2 boys soccer Thursday afternoon.
Desaulniers broke a 2-2 tie with a goal with 11:08 remaining in the game as the Cougars edged Cattaraugus-Little Valley (2-8, 4-8), 3-2.
Logan Martin's goal with 12:32 left in the second half tied the game for the Timberwolves at 2-2.

Kyle Runge scored twice in the second half for the Cougars. He had a game-tying goal with 26:15 left and the second with 19:47 showing.
Cattaraugus-Little Valley scored the only goal in the first half when Hunter Phinney found the range at 15 minutes.
Tim Bender made 18 saves in picking up the victory and Dylan Rhinehart and Nate Reynolds combined for 10 saves in defeat.
CARDS WIN AGAIN
RANDOLPH - The shutouts keep piling up for the Randolph Cardinals.
Already in the midst of a nine-game shutout streak, the Cardinals upped that number to 10 with their 3-0 victory over Salamanca.
Randolph (14-1, 11-0) is now just one more shutout away from tying Hamilton for the seventh-longest streak in New York State Public High School Athletic Association boys soccer history, and it is halfway to Bath-Haverling's record of 20 straight set in 1996.
Nick Carpenter made three saves for the winners.
Dustin Botzenmayer tallied the opening score in the 11th minute from Zach Jackson and then Jackson scored from Mathew Born 15 minutes later to make it 2-0.
Alex Shiperd, assisted by Liam McDonald, accounted for the third and final goal at the 33rd minute.
For Salamanca (8-4, 6-4), McKenzie Tucker made 14 saves.
DIVISION 3
CLCS PREVAILS
MAYVILLE - Justin Andriaccio scored in the 59th minute to lift Chautauqua Lake to a 1-0 victory over West Valley.
James Latimer was the winning goalie, making seven saves to help the Thunderbirds improve to 4-10 overall and 4-7 in league.
For West Valley (5-8, 2-8), Mike Grigsley had 13 stops in defeat.
DIVISION 1
LANG LIFTS FREDONIA
FALCONER - Aiden Lang scored a goal and added an assist to lead the Fredonia Hillbillies (5-4, 7-6) to a 2-0 victory over Falconer (1-7-1, 1-12-1).
Lang opened the scoring off a feed from Julius Woma. Lang then assisted Jon Saeli's goal in the first half for the 2-0 win.
Nick Hart was the winning goalie, making one save.
Tyler Dykstra was the losing goalie despite making 15 saves.
