For the past 28 years St. Susan Center has been "in the business" of serving meals to the poor.
"The need continues to grow, but thanks to a community of people who care, we are making a difference," said Sue Colwell, executive director.
One such business making a difference is ACME The Appliance Store, 1286 E. Second St., Jamestown. Owner Beth Hocking donated a 50-inch flat screen TV which will be given away on Christmas Eve. Tickets are $1 each, plus from now until Dec. 24 ACME will also donate $5 to St. Susan Center for every range sold.
