Roderick C. Emmick Johnson

Roderick C. Emmick Johnson, 57, of Jamestown, passed away Tuesday (Oct, 9, 2012), in the town of Ellington.

He was born May 11, 1955, in Jamestown, the son of Walter J. Jr. and Eva K. Passmore Emmick.

Roderick was a graduate of Falconer High School and Jamestown Business College.

Prior to retirement, he was co-owner of a consignment store Poor Boys in Jamestown. Roderick enjoyed camping at the Top-A-Rise Camp Ground in Kennedy.

Surviving are his three sons: Lon (Denise) John-son, Mark Johnson (Ada Santiago), and Craig John-son (Rischell Pratt), all of Jamestown; four grandchildren: Alyson, Michael, Amanda and Andrew Johnson; three brothers: Roger (Patricia) Emmick of So-mers Point, N.J., Jonathan (Evelyn) Emmick of Ellington, and Nathan (Dora) Em-mick of Jamestown.

Roderick is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia A. Johnson, whom he mar-ried April 10, 1976, and who died Aug. 27, 2012; and his mother, Eva K. Passmore Emmick.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Falconer Funeral Home. The Rev. Al Meyers of Levant Wesleyan Church, will offi-ciate. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery, Ellington.

Friends will be received by the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.

Memorials may be donated to Hospice of Chautauqua County, 20 W. Fairmount Ave., Lakewood, NY 14750.
