Junior Guilders Support Cancer Drive

October 11, 2012
The Post-Journal

The Junior Guilders are wearing pink breast cancer awareness bracelets after supporting Bob Terreberry's sit-in held on the Friendly's lawn in Brooklyn Square. Terreberry set out to sell 2,500 of the $5 bracelets in support of the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. He sold his final bracelet Wednesday morning. It took Terreberry less than 48 hours to achieve his goal. The Guilders made an appearance in support of the cause on Monday. Terreberry's daughter, Jennie, a two time breast cancer survivor, was a Junior Guilder, along with her brother Josh and sister Elle. In front of a small crowd, the Guilders performed songs with a message, including "Believe in Yourself," "How Lucky You Are" and "What a Wonderful World."
