A memorial service for Sherley E. (Emke) Smith, 78, of Cherry Creek, N.Y., who passed away Friday Aug. 17, 2012, in her home, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Cherry Creek.
